I have been teaching for more than ten years as well as coaching golf at Keith Country Day School and won the Golden Apple Award in 2011. I am a certified teacher in Illinois, having attained my undergraduate degree in History at the University of Utah and my Masters of Arts in Education at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. I currently teach 6th Grade Social Studies, 9th Grade Ancient and Medieval History, 10th and 11th Grade European and U.S. History in alternating years and 12th Grade U.S. Government and World Religions. I use a lot of technology in my courses including my teacher website, www.mrstott.com, quia activities and tests as well as a SmartBoard. |
