I am a graduate of James Madison University, with a Bachelor of Music Education K-12. This is my third year at Tabb Middle School. Before coming here, I taught Band and Music Appreciation at Jamestown High School. I have also taught at Hampton Roads Academy and started my teaching career at Dozier Middle School in Newport News. I have been a guest conductor and a judge for numerous band competitions in our area.
My husband and I have two sons; one in middle school and one in high school. We live in Williamsburg with our three cats (Annie, Pepper and Mittens) and two dogs (Ziggy, a Golden Retriever, and Zoey, a Scottish Terrier).
My oldest son is a very high level, year-round, competitive swimmer, so much of my free time is spent at a swimming pool! I also enjoy yoga, reading and the beach.
