Background: I have worked in the Phoenix area as a high school counselor and middle school counselor for seventeen years. My other work experiences have been as an elementary special education resource teacher and as an intervention specialist. I enjoy working with elementary students and their parents.
Education: B.A. Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology-Arizona State University
M. Ed. Counseling and Guidance-University of Arizona

Philosophy: My passion is working with children. It has always been
a strong interest of mine to help children that are in emotional need, whether in the classroom or in the counseling office. Counseling is an understanding, a concern, and a service. The unique function of a counseling program is to help children nurture their ability to benefit from the spiritual, educational and social experience, and to help children in the process of making good choices. |
