About me |
I love teaching French at Lincoln-Way! I believe that I have the most enthusiastic language students anywhere in America. In my classroom, I strive to encourage a love of language learning, and an appreciation for cultural diversity. I believe in having fun while working hard. Many students who appreciate this attitude have come back to share with me stories of their great adventures traveling, studying, and working with French. It's the greatest reward I could ask for! I have been with the Lincoln-Way Community High School District since 1998. Previously, I taught at Herscher High School (Herscher, IL) and Lockport Township High School (Lockport, IL). I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia, where I graduated magna cum laude with majors in French and History. I studied in Paris, France for one year with the Sweet Briar College Junior Year in France. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching at Rockford College. I am also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and an instructor with Performance Learning Systems. I am married, have two children, and live in the Lincoln-Way High School District. |
