I have been teaching at Blessed Pope JOhn XXIII for 3 years. I am blessed to be part of the Catholic education process. My prior experience is in the public school system since 1972. I have been actively involved with Religious Education and various ministries in the Catholic churches in which I have been a parishioner. I have my B.S. in Education with a concentration in Kindergarten-Primary and my M.Ed. in Early Childhood education, but I am always willing to learn the new lessons each child provides during a school year!!

Because kindergarten is such a fast paced grade level and I want my parents to be aware of all that goes in in K1, I will email each of you a message on a weekly basis. Look for the title: K1 This and That. It will include upcoming dates and activities, reminders about important events, a short blurb about the lessons for the week and lots of anecdotal information about the class. If there is an event at which your presence is requested, there will be an opportunity to respond on the SignUpGenius which will be published as needed and linked to the message.. Any other information about school-wide activities can be obtained through the Pope John web-site.
