I am originally from South Florida and have been living in Las Vegas for approximately six years now. I speak Spanish and English fluently, as well as reading and writing in both languages. I have been teaching at Ferron ES. for four years and I love it! There is no other staff, as this one, anywhere in the district. Ferron's fifth grade departmentalized this year and it has made a big difference! The students like it and are practicing rotating classes for next year. The 5th grade teachers love it also because it allows us to be more passionate about what we do. This website will be used for reading classes only. Please keep this in mind as you explore. You will find activities that focus on vocabulary words of the week and/or comprehension questions that are A2 and A3 leveled to help students understand the story of the week. There is also a calendar where you will find current events for the month. You can also access my email address from this site. This is the best form of communication for me.
