This is my third year teaching at Toledo Christian. I am a 2003 TCS graduate and enjoy working with many of my former teachers! (I had Mrs. Gioiella for 2nd grade!)
I graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) in 2007 with a B.A. in English Literature. I also have a Master's degree in K-12 Special Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement, which I completed in December of 2011 through Regent University. When I have a little time to myself, I love to read (of course!), bake, and travel.
Literature is very dear to me! My goal is to give my students practical tools to overcome their struggles in reading so that they will learn to love reading and all the richness that comes with it. |
