I graduated from the University of Maine with an Elementary Education major in 1976, took many reading, math and special education classes at the University of Southern Maine, then received my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a math endorsement from Arizona State University in 2006.

I began my teaching career in rural Maine, quite a change from Phoenix! I began at Saint Theresa Catholic School in 1993. Currently I teach 7th grade math, 8th grade literature and 8th grade religion at Saint Theresa. I also moderate our student council with Mrs. Schaff. After my first years teaching in public schools, it is nice to be able to bring gospel values into everything I teach.
