The 2010-2011 school year is my fifth year in the Caesar Rodney community. This year, I teach English 9: Introduction to Literature and English 10: Writing through Literature.
I love teaching English because every single topic we explore gives my students a better chance to prepare for life on all levels. Literature enables me to help students reach inside of themselves, reflect, and connect with the real world. Through writing, students learn how to express themselves to a variety of audiences, although our toughest audience is sometimes ourselves. |
