Where do I begin? I have been at Bl. Pope John XXIII since it opened 11 years ago. My experience in Catholic education is well over 25 years. I also taught 1st grade and 3rd grade for 5 years in the Paradise Valley School District.I also taught a class of gifted children for a year. In addition to my elementary credential I have several endorsements: a Gifted endorsement, an Early Childhood Endorsement, and a SEI endorsement. The professional organizations I belong to include: The Council for Exceptional Children, The National Council for Teachers of Mathematics, the National Catholic Educators Association, The International Reading Association, International Society of Teachers of Technology, the AzTEA, and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development. I am currently working of a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from NAU. I have been married for 28 years and have two grown daughters. They are graduates of Northern Arizona University and The University of Arizona. I also have a German Shepherd named Nikki, who is also my daily walking buddy.
