After growing up in the state of Maine, I attended Cedarville University and graduated with a degree in Bible Comprehensive and Elementary Education. God has provided opportunities to serve Him in various cities and capacities; including Pushkin, Russia as a public school Bible teacher and recently as the director of a preschool and child care ministry in Fishers, Indiana. My husband, Drew, is an assistant football coach here at TCS and all four of our children attend TCS!! Eli (16) and Abby (15) are freshmen and Doug (13) and Sam (13) are in 7th grade. We have two golden retrievers, Zeke (10) and Essie (9). God is good-all the time and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Him in the pre-kindergarten department at TCS. I'm looking forward to all God has in mind!
John 15:5 " I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

We had a terrible, very boring day. Actually, it was opposite day. Our day was really great and very exciting! We wore our clothes inside out, backwards, and mismatched! The first was last and the last was first in our line order.

OODLES is how much fun we had with our noodles today! With all the different shapes and varieties of noodles sent in, we practiced making capital and lowercase Nn, sorted by color and shape, made alphabet soup, strung colored noodle necklaces and even prepared noodles with pom-pom meatballs! We had noodles everywhere!

Today we learned that mud (chocolate pudding) makes a mess...especially when you take "muddy" hands and fling them back and forth! We liked making M shapes with m&m candies even though that wasn't as messy!

We made patterns on pumpkins with candy corn!

After describing how our pumpkins looked and felt, we determined which one we thought was the biggest around...the fattest. But how can we know for sure? We measured it with a string! The longest string was the pumpkin we thought was the biggest around...so now we know we were right!

RAINBOWS and PROMISES! God always keeps his promises! ALWAYS! He paints a rainbow in the sky to remind us! We used prisms at the light table today and got to see rainbows and it didn't even rain yet!
"I am God ALL powerful. Obey me and do what is right!"

What a day! We got to go on a hay ride to a pumpkin patch, and picked our own pumpkin from the vine! The pumpkins were all different shapes and sizes. Some had lumps and bumps. Some were green, but most were orange! We got to see lots of animals like bunnies and peacocks and swans...oh, and a very BIG pig who "had too much for dinner!" Her belly touched the ground! Llamas, goats and a reindeer ate bread from our hands. "Their tongues were hot" and it kind of tickled!

We squeezed an orange and made our own orange juice! It was "delicious and sweet"!

Orange, orange everywhere! God put lots of orange things in His creation...like oranges, pumpkins, butterflies, flowers, leaves and cheese. We ate orange crinkle-cut carrots for snack. The ranch dressing was "tasty" but "the best part was the CRUNCH sound we could hear"!
