About me |
This is my 30th year in education and many things have changed, especially how we get and use information. I still get very excited each fall looking forward to meeting my students and working with a great group of colleagues. I still remember my years in junior high- scary, wanting to fit in, doing well and not wanting others to know, dates for the dances, not being allow to take Tech Ed drafting because of my gender -oh what stress. So, I have compassion for my middle school students. I enjoy of teaching this level- I get to see large developmental and academic growth from sixth grade to spring of eighth grade.
I enjoy family time- my daughter, Emily, husband Jeff and my four siblings, nieces,and nephews.
Favorite activities: watching my daughter and friends musical performances, peacefullness of sailing, sewing, cooking, and being with my extended family on Sunday mornings for breakfast.
Favorite TV shows are on- HGTV , Food Network, History and Discovery Channels.
