About me |
I am very excited to be teaching here at St. Theresa Catholic School this
year. I will be teaching 7th and 8th Grade Grammar as well as some
sections of 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Math, which means that I may have
your student for both Grammar and Math.
While this is my first year at St. Theresa's, I'm not new to teaching in a
Catholic School. In the past I have taught Art at all grade levels as well as
Math and Language Arts in 6th through 8th grades. My education and
experience is in architecture, accounting, and teaching. Currently, I am a
graduate student at Loyola University New Orleans Institute of Ministry
where I'm completing a Masters in Religious Education.
In addition to teaching, I have a passion for social justice issues. I serve
on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities and UMOM New Day
Centers. I'm happy to work with any student interested in exploring either
of these organizations as a way of earning community service hours.
