This year's theme is "The Decorative Arts". We will work with a variety of media and subject matter including pencil drawings, clay masks, Manga portraits, and weaving.
Classroom Guidelines: 1. Arrive on time with required materials. 2. Remain seated and work consistently throughout class. 3. Be respectful of l of others and their property. 4. Talk when appropriate.
Conduct Policy: Should a student break a classroom rule, an "alert" will be given. The student will be removed from team time as a consequence for receiving and alert. Multiple alerts will result in lunch detention or referral to an administrator. Notifications of behavior problems or academic concerrns will be communicated through a note in the student's Tracker. The Tracker is then to be signed by a guardian.
Homework Policy If a student is absent and is unable to complete his or her project, he or she may finish it for homework or may submit alternate makeup work. All art projects must be complete in order to get full credit.
