I have been teaching in the Harlandale Independent School District since 1989. All of those years have been teaching with technology. Before I entered education, I was an accountant for a publication firm here in San Antonio. When that position de-centralized, I decided to change my profession. With my father's encouragment (yes, along with the rest of my family) I went back to school for my education certification. Since that time, I have returned to college classes three times to receive a: Master's Degree in Instructional Technology, Master Technology Certification and an Administration Certification.
My family owns a ranch south of San Antonio where I do spend some of my free time. I have lived on this ranch since I was 10 years old. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. So in essence, I am a country girl.
