About me
I am so privileged to say that this is my 22nd year at Toledo Christian School! Time surely does fly!  Let me tell you about my history at TCS. I began my ministry here as a second grade teacher and taught second grade for eight years and loved every minute of it.  During this time I went to graduate school at Bowling Green State University and received my Masters Degree in Education/Gifted Education, K-12.  While attending graduate school, I designed and implemented the gifted program at TCS called Higher Ground. So, for the next 10 years I taught the elementary students in the program and loved every minute of it, too!  About five years ago, I was asked by our then superintendent to start a preschool/prekindergarten program.  After much research and study, the Eagle's Nest opened.  This year we are bursting at the seams (or should I say "nest"!) with little eaglets!  Two years ago I began serving as Elementary Principal, and I must say, our TCS families are such a blessing to me.  As you can see, God has allowed me to pour my heart and soul into the ministry at TCS.

I have been married to my husband, Lou, for 38 years.  We have four grown children, all of whom graduated from Toledo Christian School.  Julie and her husband, Rob (TCS grad) have two boys, Jack (8) and Josh (6).  Joe and his wife, Jerusha (TCS grad) have two girls, Lydia (6) and Breena (5).  Tony and his wife, Angie, have one son, Ashton (9 mos.), and Stephen is getting married to Nicole in September 2011!  We are blessed to have all of our children living the area.  Julie is quite the gourmet cook, so we all just love to get together as often as she invites us over! We are a very close Italian family--we love to laugh and we love people, so come on over and join us for dinner!!

In my spare time, I like to read, scrapbook, rubber stamp, and travel, especially to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
