Hi. My name is Annette Shavchuk and I have been teaching Spanish at LHS since 2003. I got into this because in school I loved learning Spanish and always had a knack for it. I feel privileged to be able to open up my students to a broader world than what they have known. I am very pleased to say that some of my students have gone on to further their education in the field of Spanish and are very fluent in Spanish. My goal is that my students will begin to see the beauty of the world around them and learn to celebrate the different cultures that they encounter.
