About me
 In 1996, I began my teaching career in my home state of Washington, at the Columbia Basin Job Corps.  In 1998 came to the valley  and began teaching at Southern Careers Institute, then Progreso High School for seven years.  In 2005, I transferred to IDEA College Prep for two years.  I left for a year with my husband to Austin and taught at Manor High School.  In 2007, I came back to help found IDEA Mission and taught there for two years.  I worked at Pharr this past year and I am extremely excited to be back here at IDEA College Prep, Donna. 

I am blessed with two wonderful girls Ysabel & Christine Hinojosa, both will be attending IDEA CP this year.  Ysabel is in the 11th grade and Christine will be in the 6th grade.
