We have completed all of the units for math in our book and are now reviewing weak areas and preparing for 5th grade. There may not be a lot of math homework for the remainder of the year but students are encouraged to MASTER their multiplication tables and division tables as well as continue in the DU the Math which not only reviews 4th grade, but prepares the students for 5th.
HOMEWORK: Students have been enjoying researching whales and dolphins. If they would like to research another mammal, a bear, they can. Students will have the opportunity to share what they learn in class for extra credit.
Things to do are FCAT Explorer (5th grade science and math since most are done with the 4th grade reading), FLORIDA ACHIEVES, and Destination Reading (There are some problems with Destination Reading so if you come across any just let me know, do not stress out over it.
