| WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE CLASS OF 2009-2010!
HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL TONIGHT AT OPEN HOUSE/CURRICULUM NIGHT
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
There will be 3 separate 20 minute presentations: 6:00 - 6:20, 6:25 - 6:45, 6:50 - 7:10.
Parents need only attend one session for 4th grade students. Mrs. Tierney and I will be presenting together in room 4A (downstairs). Please go visit 4B after the presentation to collect curriculum brochures and a special letter from your child. Also, feel free to roam around and view our class room environment!
Below you will find links to the classes that I teach, for both 4B & 4A. I will be updating this website daily and/or weekly with pertinent information that you and your children will find useful as we work together this year.
A reminder that Mrs. Tierney teaches Math, Science, and Religion to all 4th graders, so be sure to see her website for information regarding those classes. Also, please direct any questions regarding those subjects to Mrs. Tierney via her email or by appointment.
Homework will not always be posted on a daily basis, as Mrs. Tierney and I will be working to hold our students accountable when writing down assignments from our Smartboards into their planners.
Projects and other long-term assignments, however, will be posted here under each relevant class. You will also find many links and connections where you will be able to print intructions, expectations, and criteria sheets for these longer assignments. We both like to include links to games to assist students in preparing for quizzes and tests.
Please be patient as we add items in the next few weeks. More information and expectations will be forthcoming on Curriculum Night, Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00 - 7:30. (K-6) See your calendar for times for middle school.
Finally, be sure to look at the calendar on on upper left column for other information for grade 4 and school events, such as days for PE, Music, Art, and Spanish.
