The 2009-10 school year marks Mr. Tim Fioravanti’s seventeenth year as Director of Bands and Choruses and Music Department Chairman at Waterford High School, Waterford, Connecticut.
Under his direction, the Waterford Lancer music program has received many accolades.
Mr. Fioravanti received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. While attending Delaware, Mr. Fioravanti studied music education and conducting with Dr. Robert J. Streckfuss, percussion with Mr. Harvey Price and composing/arranging with Dr. Michael Zinn. Mr. Fioravanti holds a Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Connecticut. While at Connecticut, Mr. Fioravanti served as Graduate Assistant Director of Bands under the direction of Mr. Gary Green and Dr. David Mills.
Mr. Fioravanti is an active judge, clinician, guest conductor and speaker. He is a member of the Connecticut Music Educators Association. |
