PSAT/SAT Sentence Completion #1

Practice these tricks in the sentence completion section of the PSAT/SAT:
(1) think of your own simple word for the blank, then look for a synonym in the choices;
(2) decide whether the blank has a positive (+) or negative (-) "feel" to eliminate wrong answers;
(3) look for "same" and "opposite" word indicators, such as "and"..."also"...
"although"..."but"..."despite"... etc.
