Writing HALLOWEEN Leads - Hooking Your Reader

Using the information, write an effective lead. You may use names of friends in place of those used in the samples. Remember that the where and when are not the most important part of a lead and most likely will NOT hook your reader. Leads should be colorful, descriptive and complete. But, they need to be limited to one main idea and wordiness (redundancy) should be avoided. No paragraph should be over 40 words. Make sure you write complete sentences, but avoid the EXTRA words such as - and then, etc.
