Remember the rules about conjunctions?
Example: Sandra y Marcos (Sandra and Marcos)
Example: Sandra e Irene (Sandra and Irene).
Rule: You can't have the "Y" and "I" sound together. You have to change it to "e."
What about "or"?
Ejemplo: Comer o beber. (To eat or to drink)
Ejemple: Comer u obligar. (To eat or to obligate-command).
Rule: You can't have 2 'O' sounds together, so you have to change it to "U."
