The Sun, and the Stars

Our sun is our local star. It is just an ordinary stellar object, with millions just like it in our galaxy. It is approximately 1/2 through its expected lifespan. At about 5 BY in age, the sun should shine for another 5 BY before it exhausts its supply of fuel.
