Würde is a special form of «werden» called the subjunctive. It is used like the English construction would + infinitive. The «würde»-construction consists of a form of «würde» plus an infinitive in final position. Zum Beispiel: Ich würde diese Wohnung nicht mieten. I wouldn't rent this apartment.
