SEEDFOLKS FINAL: ESSAY
This is your final essay for SEEDFOLKS. You should give yourself 30 MINUTES OF TIME TO TYPE THIS RESPONSE. You MAY use your black journals to assist you--in fact, you SHOULD! I strongly recommend doing a rough draft of this question and then coming back and typing that rough draft here.
This essay is divided into four parts. The number in parentheses (x) will tell you how many sentences should be in each paragraph. Note: Paragraph one should have EXACTLY 4 SENTENCES, the rest of the numbers are recommedations for a grade of "B/B+".
PARAGRAPH #1: Choose the two characters from SEEDFOLKS that were the MOST DIFFERENT and write a compare/contrast paper on these two. The first paragraph should be EXACTLY four sentences long = CATCHY...C/C...COM...CON. A CATCHY sentence should start the paper followed by a sentence explaining the two characters you chose C/C. Then include one sentence on how these two are alike COM, and finish the paragraph with how the two characters are different CON. (EXACTLY 4)
Paragraph #2: This will be your most difficult paragraph since you have to find ways the two most different characters are similar. Pick one way they are simialr and then explain WHY... IN DETAIL! Repeat that process several times to complete the paragraph (8).
Paragraph #3: Repeat paragraph #2 above, only this time elaborate on their differences. (8)
Paragraph #4: To close the paper, please explain a theme that you learned from reading SEEDFOLKS. What is a message you can take from this story? To get full credit for this paragraph, you must give an example from the book directly AND an example from your life. (8)
A "closing" paragraph to this assignment is not required.
