Recognizing Types of Verbs and Simple Sentence Patterns

Identify the simple sentence Pattern. Focus on the verb. Is it a transitive, intransitive, or linking verb? If it's a transitive verb, it must be followed by a direct object, which may be followed by a modifier. Please note that introductory phrases do not have verbs!
