Noun Clause Objects

This exercise, which requires you to answer a question by using a noun clause object, is based on the Folktale, "The Boy of the Red Sky," in the book World Folktales. Write complete sentences by turning the question into a statement, using the same subject and predicate that is in the question. Your object will be a reported statement with pronoun and verb changes as required by grammar rules for reported speech. As an example, your first answer should be THE LADY SAID TO HERSELF THAT SHE WISHED SHE HAD CHILDREN.
