S-V agreement - Indefinite Pronouns
A verb must agree in number with an indefinite pronoun used as a subject. Remember: Singular indefinite pronouns are anything ending in body or one, each, either, and neither. Plural indefinite pronouns are both, few, many several. Then there are five indefinite pronouns that we call them the "Magical 5" because they can change and may be either singular or plural. You will determine the number of these five pronouns by looking at the object of the prepositional phase that appears behind them. The "Magical Five" are all, any, most, none, some.
