We sometimes forget how important it is to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves, or need our assistance in some way. Small acts of friendliness or gestures of friendship can mean a great deal to those on the receiving end. During WWII many lives were saved or lost due to small acts of assistance or failure to do so. Tens of thousands of people, not targets of persecution themselves, risked being imprisoned , sent to concentration camps, or even killed to help those who were being persecuted.Only about one tenth of one percent of people in countries occupied by the Nazis actually help those who were being persecuted. Most people did not get involved, and too many were indifferent. Answer the following questions. Choose carefully to make a good grade. Some questions require personal reflection. Others require research. If you choose to type your answers, make sure to print a hard copy. Then, send via email.
