Forefront Curriculum Sample: Presenting Heroes from US History- (Rags to Riches)

Through this interactive activity, students will review five familiar American figures, and then closely examine their reasons for believing each one is a hero. This supplements the "Portrait of a Hero-Presenting Heroes from US History" lesson plan #4 which can be found at the following:
