| What parts of Quia are free?
|
You can use any activity on Quia, including those in the top
activities list, for free. Student features, like taking
quizzes, having a student account,
and viewing instructors' class pages, are also free. However,
to create your own activities, or to search the shared
activities area, you'll need a subscription. Rates are
$49 (U.S. dollars) per year for an individual instructor.
Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more instructors
subscribing together. You may sign up for a free,
30-day trial to help you decide whether to subscribe.

| Are group discounts available?
|
Yes. The per-instructor rate drops to $39/year for groups of 10 instructors or more. For groups of 100 or more, the rate drops substantially, to $29/year or less. Site licenses are also available at even lower rates. For more information, please see our rate card.

| Will my students need to subscribe in order to use my activities? |
| No. Students can always use Quia for free.

| Can my school pay using a purchase order? |
| Yes. This is an option in the online ordering process. Just follow the link at the bottom of this page to subscribe. If you have any questions, you may contact us at orders@quia.com. |
| Can I purchase a subscription for several instructors at once? |
| Yes. Just follow the link at the bottom of this page to subscribe. You may complete your order online, or you may contact us at orders@quia.com for more information. Our rate card outlines the range of group discounts that we offer. |
| How long is my subscription active? |
A subscription to Quia lasts one year. After you subscribe, you will receive an e-mail confirmation message that will include the expiration date. You can also view your expiration date at any time by going to the Instructor Zone and clicking the Preferences tab.
You may renew your subscription at any time and your
expiration date will be extended by one year. To renew your subscription,

| What forms of payment are accepted? |
You can pay for your subscription by credit card, check, or purchase order. If you pay by credit card, your subscription will become active immediately. Otherwise, we will activate your subscription as soon as we receive your check or purchase order in the mail. The mailing address for checks and purchase orders is:

| Can I try Quia out for free before I subscribe? |
| Yes. You may click here to sign up for a free 30-day trial account, which will give you complete access to most of Quia's features for a full month. If you find Quia useful, you may subscribe after the 30-day trial period has ended.
