Riverchase April Technology Professional Development Week Choices
We have technology professional development money to pay for a 1/2 day sub for you for training. The training will occur the week of April 20-24. Please choose the topic you would like to learn about for your half day. The topics were chosen based on team feedback to the Technology Committee.

Cameras and Video cameras and more-Learn how to use your lightsmith video camera to do video conferencing or to broadcast your class presentations, readers’ theater, and other activities to parents and others. You can easily create your own class channel! |

Wikis 1-Create a useful wiki that is simple to update and informative for students and parents. |

|
Wikis 2-Ideas for keeping parents visiting your wiki—tutorials, broadcasts, etc. Learn to add slideshows and if time, --how to use advanced navigation, to add and manage members, and to use the discussion tab. |

Ipods 1-Learn how to turn it on, connect it, manually manage your content, use your Belkin tune talk to record voices, and find resources/integration ideas. |

Ipods 2/Audacity-Prerequesites: Must know how to turn ipod on, connect it, and manage your content. Description: Podcasting, creating and editing in Audacity. Finding more content, adding united streaming videos, and more integration ideas. |
