Ruinart Chardonnay & Champagne Challenge Application

Apply to compete in the Ruinart Chardonnay & Champagne Challenge. 60 finalists will attend one of three tasting competitions and vie for three enrichment scholarships - a trip to Champagne and a $1,000 cash scholarship.

Tasting Competition Dates:
San Francisco - February 23 - Orson Restaurant - 11:00 to 1:00
New York - February 25 - The Standard - 1:00 to 3:00
Palm Beach - March 1 - The Breakers - 12:00 to 2:00

Applications due one week prior to tasting:
San Francisco - February 16th by 6 pm PST
New York - February 18th by noon EST
Palm Beach - February 22nd by noon EST

Competitors will be selected to move on to the tastings based on their answers to the quesitons below. One winners will be selected at each tasting based on their demonstrated knowledge of wines made from the Chardonnay grape and adeptness in pairing wine and food.

The three (3) individuals who win the Ruinart Chardonnay Challenge must have a valid passport. Those traveling to France understand that they are representing the Guild and agree to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the scholarship.
