Maxwell High School of Technology Application for School Year 2010-2011 (Version 4.0)
This application is for Gwinnett County Public School students who are interested in attending one of Maxwell's 12 programs. To apply, students must be rising Juniors or Seniors who have successfully completed 8 units of credit prior to applying to Maxwell. To attend, students must have attained Junior status (11 units of credit) by the start of the 2010-2011 school year.
Students participating in an on-line class as part of their 3 Maxwell credits must register for the on-line class through the on-line campus website, after completing the Maxwell application.
Any student interested in participating in the Cisco Networking Academy Program at Gwinnett Technical College, may enroll as a Dual Enrollment student while still enrolled in high school. Those students accepted into the Dual Enrollment program at GTC, will ride the bus from their home high school to Maxwell, then board a bus to GTC. The class will meet M-F 11:30-1:30.
Students interested in participating in the Cisco Networking Academy Program at GTC must first complete the Maxwell on-line application and select CISCO as their 1st Choice. After completing the Maxwell application, return to the Maxwell High School website and follow the detailed instructions for applying to GTC in the Dual Enrollment program.
