Mr. Guzzi: Motivated Strategies For Learning Questionnaire - 09-10
This questionnaire (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire or MSLQ) asks questions about your study habits, your learning skills, and your motivation for work in this course and in some cases school in general. THERE ARE NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTIONNAIRE. THIS IS NOT A TEST. I want you to respond to the questionnaire as accurately as possible, reflecting your own attitudes and behaviors in this course. Your answers to this questionnaire will be analyzed by computer and your teacher will receive feedback on your class as a whole, which will allow him or her to tailor the course to class needs. Your honesty and thoughtfulness will be greatly appreciated and will help to generate accurate information for your teacher. Thank you for your cooperation. Before beginning the survey your teacher will provide you with a sheet that has your overall grade and the percentages of your Homework, Lab/Class work, and Quiz/Test grades. Please record this information, when asked, on the survey and then discard the paper. Please Note: There are two questions in the survey that will ask you for your name. Please realize that providing your name is optional, meaning you are NOT required to give your name. Question 12 asks if you would be willing to be interviewed. The interview will be 10 to 20 minutes long and will discuss the questions covered in this survey. Only 5 to 8 students will be selected however, I encourage ALL students to volunteer. I am hoping to be able to talk to all types of students. If you are willing to be interviewed, then please provide your name when asked. The submission of your name for question 57 is for if you would like to receive feedback form the survey. Submission of your name will help both you and Mr. Guzzi to gain a better sense of who you are as a student. I encourage you to submit your name, however it is not mandatory. Thank you again for participating in this study
