Elements & Principles of Art weekly Sketchbooks: Turn in last day of the week, Use the knowledge from class and previous assignment to create pictures

Sketchbooks are also to be used to take notes and do thumbnails for projects and mini projects, therefore must be with you every day.

TO MAKE A SKETCHBOOK:

Take 15 sheets of paper and one piece of construction paper

Fold in half to make a book

Staple the middle

ASSIGNMENTS: any medium maybe used most should be in color and 3-D, unless teacher specifies, the whole page should be used and colored. Each assignment is worth 25 points each *one day late graded at 60% (-10 points), day 2 is a zero. -------Week 4 Space – PENCIL – positive and negative space, one point perspective

-------Week 5 Repetition – repeated 2D pattern in color

-------Week 6 Balance – equal amount of objects on each side of the picture

-------Week 7 Variety – non-balanced picture

-------Week 8 Invent your own place inside or outside

-------Week 9 Your choice – 3D & color
