Java vs. HTML Flashcards
Flashcards use the Java programming language. If you do not have a Java-enabled browser, click HTML to use standard HTML flashcards that will work with any browser.
Match two like items by clicking one item and then clicking its corresponding match. If your match is correct, Quia hides the pair. Otherwise, the game board remains unchanged.
You can decrease the size of the cards by clicking Change size on the game board. Click Change size repeatedly until the size meets your preference.
Click Show answers on the game board to see the answers to the current matching activity.
Click Start over on the game board to display a new matching activity.
Click cards to uncover matching pairs.
When you click a hidden card, Quia displays its value. Locate a second card that you believe is a match for the first and click it to see if you are correct.
When you successfully match two cards, Quia displays them. When you are unsuccessful, Quia displays the two cards briefly before hiding them again.
The goal is to identify as many matching pairs as you can while accruing as few points as possible. You accrue a point with each match you attempt, regardless of whether or not you are successful, so you want to minimize the number of unsuccessful attempts you make.
Click Show answers on the game board to view the answers to the current concentration activity.
Click Start over on the game board to display a new concentration activity.
Click Settings to change the game board size. You will only see the Settings option if the activity author has enabled it.
Find all the hidden words by dragging your mouse over the letters of each word in the word search activity. You will see a list of clues for the hidden words at the bottom of the activity.
Click Start over on the game board to display a new word search activity.
Click Show answers on the game board to view the words hidden in the current word search activity.
