Culminating Activity:

Students will prepare a script for the following two scenes:

a. Two students are preparing lunch, and decide to make an Obstsalat (Handout). They should discuss what ingredients are necessary, how much of each is required, and where they should go to get them. One student should write up a shopping list.

b. The second scene takes place at the store, where one student arrives with the list in hand and the other plays the salesperson. The salesperson should ask the customer what he or she needs, how much is required, and whether he or she needs anything else. The customer buys the necessary ingredients and leaves the store.
