Welcome Beginning Spanish Students! As you discovered this week in class, expressing the English verb "to be" is a bit more complicated in Spanish. There are two verbs instead of just one. For that reason I've designed this page to provide you with a bit of extra practice so that you can begin to use them correctly. Please visit this page several times over the next week. I recommend spending no more than 20-30 minutes per visit. Frequent short sessions are usually more productive than one long one. Begin by viewing the following power point presentation. After you have viewed the presentation, follow the links below to exercises that will provide you with practice in conjugation.
