Dear Speech students:
      September already?? I hope you are all settling down with your new school schedule and getting to know your new teachers.   After this Labor Day weekend, we are seeing a change in the weather. The cooler weather will bring on the changes in trees and the final harvest of summer gardens and fruit orchards but the first day of Autumn is not until the 23rd. What words have you learned that can help you express what you are seeing?
     Always take time to practice the skills you have learned in Speech to give you the edge you need to be successful in school. Remember that listening is an important part of communication so practice listening carefully everyday so that you can understand your friends, teachers, coaches and parents.
