Provider Resiliency Training

Terminal Learning Objective: Implement preventive and treatment measures to minimize the effects of provider fatigue on the military health care provider and UMT’s ( Unit Ministry Teams) IAW the cited references.

Enabling Learning Objectives:

a. Given a list, identify the types of provider fatigue related to the health care provider.

b. Given a scenario be able to discuss overlapping concepts in compassion fatigue.

c. Given a list, identify the Figley Model of Compassion Fatigue IAW Figley, C.R. Treating Compassion Fatigue. New York: Brunner-Rufledge., 2002.

d. Identify the symptoms of compassion fatigue IAW O’Grady, Kathy, “Symptoms and Prevention Outline”, The Vet Center Voice, vol 25, No.3, Trenton, New Jersey.

e. Given a list, identify provider fatigue prevention techniques for combat health care providers IAW the cited references.

f. Given a scenario, identify treatment techniques for provider fatigue IAW cited references.
