Happy October! Welcome to the Jaguar Team and Mrs. Drapeau's homepage. This site is meant to keep parents/guardians as well as students informed about class activites, homework, projects, as well as upcoming test and quiz schedules and formats. There are also games to help reinforce lessons.
PLANS FOR THE WEEK OF 10/22/01:
Assessment on the Columbian Exchange, the Spanish conquering Mexico and exploring portions of North America, and what life was like in New Spain was on Tuesday.
Students will begin the study of colonization in North America this week. We will discuss the challenges to Spanish power by England, France, and Holland, and the Reformation. All students will be given a study List of people and terms on Thursday.
SOCIAL STUDIES HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK OF 10/22/02
(I reserve the right to make changes as needed.)
*By now all students should have a study buddy from their class section. Study buddies can quiz each other, clarify assignments, and provide support when needed.
Monday: Study Chapter 4 for the test scheduled for Tuesday.
Tuesday: Read Chapter 5 Section 1 and complete the Chapter 5 Section 1 study guide.
Wednesday: Read Chapter 5 Section 2 and complete the Chapter 5 Section 2 study guide.
Thursday: Complete Chapter 5 Sections 1&2 Reteaching and Form d worksheets. Study for a quiz on Chapter 5 Sections 1&2 scheduled for Friday.
Friday: No Homework!
