Salvete, discipuli!  Welcome to Latin II!

We will continue to learn about the Latin Language and how it is still used in English and other modern languages today.  In addition to continuing our study of vocabulary and grammar, we will study Greek and Roman mythology, Roman history, Roman culture including chariot racing, Roman baths, the Roman army, and gladiators, and Latin derivatives in English.

This semester we will be using the Ecce Romani II book.  You will need a loose-leaf notebook, blue or black ink, a Latin-English dictionary, and an email address.  I will help you register for one if you do not already have one.  You will need your own address (not one you share with family members).

You will be expected to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour on your Latin II homework each night.  You will be given time in class on most days to begin your assignment.  Some assignments for Latin II will submitted on email.  I will give directions for that when we get ready to submit them.

I will list links below to games that will help you in your study of Latin II each week.  It is recommended that you complete each activity during the week it is posted in order to be prepared for class and quizzes.  The information will also be given in class; however, this web site will help you practice what you learn in class.  Also, I will include some links to other web sites that you may find helpful.

The websites from last semester can be found by accessing the following page
These may be helpful for you to review vocabulary from time to time.
