Happy New Year!
Week of Jan. 22, 2002
This week's hmwk. packet will include Spelling and a review of some punctuation rules. Please remember that this packet is given to the students every Monday and is due the following Friday. Make sure you sign the menu EACH night.
FAMILY HERITAGE PROJECT
I am no longer accepting Part 1. I am pleased to report that all but 2 students turned it in! We will begin Part 2 together soon. You should discuss with your student the different countries that your family is from so that they may select one for the country report. Stay tuned for further information on Part 2.
CONFERENCES AND REPORT CARDS
Last Friday, Jan.18 was the last day of the second quarter. Report cards will be sent home the this Wednesday.
The last two weeks of January will be minimum days for conferences. The three sixth grade teachers have scheduled 3 open sessions so that you can come and speak with all of the teachers that your child sees throughout the day. If you would like a private conference with me, please mark this on the note which your student will bring home this week.
Open sessions in the library:
Wed., Jan. 23 2-4pm
Mon., Jan. 28 4-6pm
Wed., Jan. 30 2-5pm.
JUST for FUN
I can create games and activities and attach them to this homepage. Below is a JAVA game I created using the students names. Try it!
