Mrs. McDonald’s Class performed the play “As the Weather Changes” for Hutsell students. In this delightful production, we were taught about the way weather affects our daily lives.
This fall four Second grade classes participated in a Cylinder Garden project. The students filled cylinders with soil and fertilizer and planted seeds of squash, zucchini and peas. After caring for their plants, the students harvested the crop and prepared a delicious soup to share. We are preparing a slide show presentation of the Cylinder Garden Project. Be looking for previews on our web site www.he.katy.isd.tenet.edu. More second grade classes will do a cylinder garden in the Spring.
We are studying subtraction facts in Math, famous Americans in Social Studies, and Living and Non-living Animals in Science. Please remember to study math facts daily. The Hutsell Library is open after school. Read! Read! Read!
