Jeanette Hayes Elementary
Greetings from 5th Grade!

This past six weeks was really a lot of fun. We had our school spelling bee in the middle of January. We are wishing our winner "Good Luck" at the Katy I.S.D. Spelling Bee which will be held on Feb. 22.
The other big event was the International Festival. Each fifth grade homeroom participated in making special projects for the exhibition. I hope you were able to get by and see all their fine work on Mexico and Canada.
The fifth grade has started having tutorial classes everyday from 2:50 - 3:25. to review all of the ojectives from TAAS as well as make sure every student is prepared for junior high school.

These are some of the things that your children are studying this six-weeks period.
