YAY IT'S JUNE!! It is so nice to finally be able to open the windows and let the fresh air in!  The kids are doing their best to not let allergies get the better of them. Thank you to those of you who have sent in additional tissues and wipes.  The children are finishing the fifth unit in the reading series. We continue to understand character traits, pull out the main idea and supporting details, draw conclusions, and identify cause and effect relationships. In mathematics, we are learning the fundamentals for multiplication and division in unit 6. We had to send our tadpoles back, but we had the opportunity to compare our little toad tadpoles to some rather large bullfrog tadpoles. We have also been working on understanding the world in which we live in relation to continents, countries, states, oceans, and communities.
We would like to extend a Happy Father's Day to all our special dads and granddads! The boys and girls are very lucky to have such special men in their lives!
