Welcome to Kiolbassa's Kindergarten Kingdom!!!!
Wow! I was amazed to learn on Friday afternoon that we only have 18 days left this year. I hadn't stopped to count and had estimated that we had about 25.
This has been a wonderful year spend with your precious children. One of the reasons I love teaching so much is that it is a constant learning experience for me. Your children have taught me so much this year. It has been terrific. Thank you for sharing them with me.
We will spend the rest of the year learning about animals from Australia. We are fortunate to have Mrs. Dayton who has loaned us many books and pictures to make this unit more real for the children. Last week the children ask when we would cover this animal or that animal. When I responded that we wouldn't have to time to cover all the animals they were disappointed. I decided that since they are enjoying it so much we will spent as long as it takes to cover the animals that they show interest in. After that we will move on to sea life.
In religion we will continue to work in and finish the Growing in Love book. In math we will estimate, measure, and work on the concepts of addition and subtraction.
We have many things planned over the next few weeks. Keep your calendars handy so you don't miss any.
